As you can probably tell, I LOVE to use stainless
steel fasteners wherever I can on my cars. The obvious benefit is that
they don't rust, but there are many other high points as well. Because
they don't rust, they won't seize in the hole or on the stud. They're
always easy to install and remove, just crack it past the initial sticking
point and they'll screw right out. All the fasteners are bright and
shiny to begin with, and they keep looking that good forever. Bolts and
nuts used around the turbo and exhaust will turn a really cool gold color
after the first heat cycle. They are a lot more expensive than the
typical steel ones, but these ones last a very very long time and stay looking
and working perfectly. On my 242 I've never had to replace a stainless
fastener, just install them once then re-use them time and time again.
I've never broken a SS bolt, snapped a SS stud, or stripped a SS nut,
certainly can't say the same about regular steel ones...

rusted out factory manifold studs on the turbo side of the head. Work
great on the intake side too! These studs also have a 4mm allen head
socket to make installation a breeze. Kit includes 8 studs, enough to do
one side of the cylinder head.

700/900 strut tower kit
I realize that I haven't been catering much to the 7/9 series crowd, even
though more than half of my spark plug wire customers drive them! It's
finally time.
This kit contains 4 stainless steel
nylon locknut nuts and 4 washers, enough to replace the nasty rusted out ones
on the top of your strut towers.

Complete top end engine kit!
This kit contains most of the above, for 15% cheaper! This kit will
allow you to replace the most commonly accessed nuts and bolts on all 8 valve
Volvo engines from '76-'95 with stainless steel. Includes enough to
replace the intake and exhaust side studs/nuts/washers, valve cover nuts, and
a few extra thrown in for good measure. 10 acorn nuts and 10 washers for
the valve cover, 16 M8 studs for both sides of the cylinder head, 20 M8 nuts
and 20 M8 washers.

The direction of my business is changing and I will be ceasing
production on nearly all of my products for the next few months. I
need to concentrate on family, R&D and producing my big blow off valves!

Opening most of the store back up again. Very busy catching up on
old orders of shifters and BIG strut braces. Also in my spare time
I'm working on converting my milling machine to CNC, very cool!
