Craving
Boost Automotive Performance is dedicated to creating, fabricating and
providing to all car enthusiasts the best quality performance parts we
possibly can. We want your vehicle to look great, sound great, and of course,
drive even better! John is always on the lookout for new things, and in
filling the niches in the market that other performance shops have missed.

"After years of getting frustrated
with a very minimal Volvo performance aftermarket, I usually ended up making
my own parts instead. If you wanted a 3" exhaust system you either had to
source the parts and weld it together yourself, or get the grease monkey at
the local Midas to toss you together a crush bent 2.5" system. It was like
this for nearly every part of the car I wanted to modify. The more I did it
the more I realized how much I loved the creativity involved, then before I
knew it Craving Boost was born."

 John,
a former computer tech, brings the drive and energy to Craving Boost. Originally
from Alberta, Canada, he has lived (and driven!) on both sides of the country,
meeting other Volvo enthusiasts along the way. He now works full time at Craving
Boost, and lives in Southern Ontario, Canada with his wife, Meg. Keep
your eye on the website for a page on John's ongoing 242 project, and about his
road trips around the continent.

When you buy something from Craving Boost, or see us advertised in magazines or
on our site, Meg is the girl behind it. She's the practical organizer that keeps
everything running smoothly behind the scenes. And while her '64 Volvo Amazon
wagon isn't running yet, she's been a happy navigator on many long-distance road trips in the
240 (especially after the leather 850 seats went in!) and doesn't get ruffled
when the turbo blows up, or the engine quits. |

- A Rolling Love Story -
Quite literally the old 244 brought John and Meg together. Living an hour
apart, John had to drive his Mom's Volvo every time he wanted to see her, and
did he ever want to see her. He clocked in hundreds of hours, and while his love
for Meg grew, so did his love for the 244! |

The direction of my business is changing and I will be ceasing
production on nearly all of my products for the next few months. I
need to concentrate on family, R&D and producing my big blow off valves!
Fun fun fun.
Ohh and my 4 axis CNC
mill is up and running :-) |

Opening most of the store back up again. Very busy catching up on
old orders of shifters and BIG strut braces. Also in my spare time
I'm working on converting my milling machine to CNC, very cool!
